Défi Inter-Alliances 2025

We are delighted to announce that the Alliance Française de York is participating in the Défi Inter-Alliances 2025!

Le DEFI is a general knowledge quiz on French and Francophone cultures.

Challenge other students within the Alliance Française de York to represent us in the British national selection. Be in the top 2 to represent the UK in the semi-final then be the best to take part in the final to compete international learners in Nice!

Le DEFI is open to current learners of the AFDY, in a group course from A2 onwards.

Entry is completely free!

Win prizes!

Local winners will be offered the admin fee (£30) for their next course registration.

National winners will be given a £105 voucher for their next course in their AF.

Finalists win a week in Nice in July (transport + accommodation) to take part in the final.
